The Rural Institution for Community Development (RICOD) is a non-profit making, non-governmental, social organisation registered at District Administration Office Lalitpur and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council Nepal in 1995. The organization is working with people with special needs, women, children, minority groups and youth in the area of primary health care, school education, food security, humanitarian emergency response and climate change.
RICOD is focused on building a just and equitable society by empowering the community for the well-being of all. It adheres to dignity & justice; transparency &accountable; environmental sensitivity and inclusiveness for the social transformation that enables people to improve livelihoods through environmental friendly agriculture and non-agriculture interventions. It has evolved as an organization to provide a platform for volunteers, professionals, and students to generate knowledge, skills, and attitudes in the field of development interventions.
